The Need
WARM offers a safe environment to explore changes needed at various levels of recover, being sensitive to the individual's needs and healing process. Our programs offer women the opportunity to live at home, maintain jobs and continue family activities while accessing programs designed to help the individual work through addiction issues.
WARM is a viable and effective community-based treatment option. The type of service we provide is women specific. We support the family and community members who are impacted by addiction issues and provide opportunities for healing and recovery through programs, community engagements/involvement, referrals and collaboration to enhance overall well being.
We often hear in our evaluations that we give women hope. We believe that recover involves more than arresting the continued use of an addictive substance. Addiction is often multi-generational and can be attributed to loss, trauma, isolation, guilt and shame. We also see addiction as affecting the whole person and believe addiction is not an isolated condition because those who are in relationship with them are affected as well. We provide a holistic approach to care (body-mind-spirit-social).
We offer confidential counseling with experienced and supportive professional staff. Self-referrals are encouraged. Call us at 905-871-9195.
